About
Engineer first. Then the program. Then the business case.
I am a hardware product consultant in Boston. I started as a mechanical engineer and spent 8+ years taking high-voltage and sensing products from design through production at a global industrial technology company.
The job kept widening: from owning the design, to owning the program, to owning the case for why the product should exist at all. I priced products, sized markets, defended business cases to executives, and then went back to the factory floor to make the plan real. That range is the practice. Most consultants in this space have lived one side of it. The engagements I run need both the supplier math and the buyer story in the same head.
A note on method: I build my own AI tooling. I designed a multi-agent automation system on Claude Code that runs 9+ production pipelines, each with anti-fabrication guards and human review gates. In practice that means a one-person practice that works at the pace of a small team, with written deliverables that are checked before they reach you.
